The S2417DG is one of them, with a 24” panel and all the desirable features gamers expect. This is also a relatively cheap 1440p 144Hz monitor.
To begin with, you have an LED-backlit TN panel, 24” in diagonal, and with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. This is very sharp, and if your computer can power it, it’s a great gaming experience. To add to that, you’ve got Nvidia’s G-Sync adaptive sync technology. You won’t experience screen tearing or other artifacts, provided you’ve got an Nvidia graphics card. Dell S2719DGF
Dell is best known for their professional monitors, especially their Ultrasharps, as well as the Alienware gaming lineup. However, the S2719DGF belongs to neither of those lineups and is still an excellent product that’s worth taking a look at because of both its lower price and great performance.

The Republic of Gamers lineup by ASUS is one of the most popular gaming brand series nowadays. The ROG Swift PG279QZ gaming monitor is a part of it, and it’s an excellent option if you want something that’s truly premium.
The 27” 2560×1440 panel is great, and it’s an IPS panel. That means you’re getting truly excellent color reproduction, as well as great viewing angles. The panel includes ASUS EyeCare technology, which reduces eye fatigue during those long gaming sessions.
If you’re up for spending a few hundred dollars on it, this one goes up to 165Hz. It also has support for Nvidia’s G-Sync adaptive sync technology, which makes your gaming experience even smoother and better. Note, however, that the response time is 4ms, which may be a touch slow for some.

ASUS isn’t all just about their ROG products, they’ve got some other options that are still excellent but don’t have the flashy logo or RGB lights. The MG278Q is one of those options, and it is actually great.
You’re getting a 27” 2560×1440 panel with ASUS EyeCare technology, which makes things easier on the eyes, especially over extended gaming sessions. The 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make this a very fast gaming monitor if your system can handle it. It’s worth mentioning that this is a 1440p 144Hz G Sync monitor, so if you have an Nvidia graphics card, you should experience no screen tearing and very smooth performance overall.
The MG278Q isn’t all about the panel, though. You have an ergonomic stand that has plenty of adjustments. Tilt, swivel, pivot, height – you name it, it has it. You can have it set up just right for your sitting position, so you aren’t uncomfortable over long periods of time.

VIOTEK GN27DB
In the world of the best 1440p 144Hz monitors, it’s not just about popular brands. There are often some lesser known ones that give you a lot more bang for your buck. VIOTEK is one of them, and their GN27DB is an excellent example that a good gaming monitor doesn’t have to cost too much.
To begin with, this is a 1440p 144Hz FreeSync panel. The panel is actually courtesy of Samsung, and it’s a VA panel with good color reproduction. If you have an AMD graphics card, you’ll be getting an excellent gaming experience out of it, with no tearing or stuttering whatsoever.
There’s a host of ports for you to choose from – DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and the monitor is also console ready. You’re getting some extra features too, such as Picture-By-Picture and Picture-In-Picture, which also makes this an interesting option for streamers.
On the outside, you’ll find an 1800R curvature on the 27” panel, which only makes the entire experience more immersive. There are also built-in speakers, but they aren’t particularly impressive.
If you’re on a budget, the VIOTEK GN27DB is definitely a good option the market nowadays.

Acer Predator XB271HU
Acer’s Predator lineup has some truly excellent gaming products – from their laptops to their monitors, and the XB271HU is no exception to that rule. It’s an excellent, yet somewhat pricey option for users who want a great gaming experience.
Starting things off on the outside, you’ll immediately notice this is a gaming monitor – the stand, the choice of colors, everything just has that feel. Aside from the regular port selection, which includes HDMI and DisplayPort, you’re also getting four USB 3.0 ports, which is a welcome addition. There are two 2W speakers on it, too.
Let’s discuss the panel for a minute. This is a 1440p 144Hz G Sync monitor, which has a TN panel that’s surprisingly good. The colors and viewing angles may not be on an IPS level, but they’re really good. If you use the DisplayPort to connect to your system, there’s the option to overclock the monitor to 165Hz, but you’ll need a seriously powerful GPU to take advantage of that.
All things considered, the Acer Predator is a great option if you have a high-end Nvidia GPU and want a monitor that will let you take advantage of it. Great colors, fast response time and refresh rate – what else could you need?

ASUS ROG Strix XG32VQ
While many consider 27” to be the ideal size for a 1440p 144Hz FreeSync monitor, there are some that simply want a larger panel. The ROG Strix XG32VQ delivers here, with a massive 31.5” panel and excellent performance.
The 31.5” panel has a resolution of 2560×1440 and an 1800R curvature. At this size, the curvature really does make this a more immersive monitor. You get support for AMD’s FreeSync adaptive sync, so if you have an AMD GPU, you’ll get a stutter-free, tear-free experience.
