It’s a pretty reasonably priced monitor for what it offers, and if you’re in the market for a white gaming monitor but don’t want to spend alot of money, it might just be the right pick for you.

First things first, this is a 27”full HD panel, which means the resolution is 1920x1080p. While this isn’t particularly sharp at 27”, the IPS panel makes sure the colors and contrast are so good you barely notice that. It’s a beautiful viewing experience, and the viewing angles are also excellent.  It’s worth noting that this is only a 60Hz panel, and gamers might want a bit more, butHP’s focus was on design as well, and this is one of the areas where they compromised.

If that doesn’t concern you too much, however, the Pavilion 27xw is an excellent white gaming monitor. There are both HDMI and VGA ports, and the bezels are pretty slim, too. Pair this with a minimalistic stand, and you’ve got yourself an excellent option.
